		<description>I encourage you to try Sage, and blog about your experiences.  The scipy and numpy components can probably do a lot of what you want, but we need more people like you to give it a try so we can figure out where it most needs to be improved.
Posting to the google-group sage-support is also good for getting tech support on Sage.
